I see you’ve stumbled upon my blog. Welcome! I’m a college student from the U.S. just trying to figure herself out and help others along the way. Through this blog, I am engaging on a journey of self-discovery, a process we could all engage in more. I’m a believer in taking care of yourself, loving who you are and dreaming big.

Some of my hobbies including writing (obviously), playing music, and reading. I’m a big fan of the written word — as an English major, I encounter it a lot — and I believe that we can learn a lot about our world, and about ourselves, from reading. When you read, you bring all your previous experiences to the table, and after you read, you form new thoughts and opinions.

The beauty of reading the written word is that not everyone gets the same ideas out of reading the same piece. Just as we are unique, so are our responses to art.
